Jaclyn Sawyer is a NYC-based data practitioner, social worker, and educator. She currently serves as the Director of Data Analytics at Breaking Ground, a housing justice organization, where she built and leads an interdisciplinary software and analytics team framed around design justice. She teaches at Columbia University where she developed an emerging tech in society course to bring the missing voices into data practice. She is deeply invested in community-built and supported technology practice.
