Malte is a lawyer by training. He has been working as a policy developer and team leader at the European Commission since 2011. As some MyData people, Malte began his professional career working on Open Data policies before moving to broader data-driven innovation issues and questions of a human-centric data economy. He was involved in the drafting of the 2020 EU data strategy, in the drafting and negotiation of both the Data Governance Act and the Data Act. And he is no stranger in the MyData community.
