Tobias Bräutigam

I am Partner and the head of our Privacy and Data Protection group in Bird & Bird Helsinki, where I advise our local and international clients on complex privacy issues. As a leading European expert on data protection, my practice offers detailed privacy advice on a range of matters including the development of new products and services, the review and negotiation of contracts, and the drafting of policies and review of campaigns. I also advise our clients on Finnish and international GDPR projects, including the implementation of global data management strategies, international data transfers and local data protection compliance. Taking an innovative approach to my practice, I regularly develop new data protection-specific services for our clients, such as the DPO back up and support service, and joint training programmes with legal and IT experts.
